New Beginnings

Phoenix Eye Pty Ltd is a newly established independent film and art production house based in Sydney, Australia. The artists engaged through this collective are all multi-disciplinary; coming from backgrounds in filmmaking, theatre, photography, video art and public exhibitions.

A build up of key creatives building momentum in digital storytelling and engagements on online platforms, Phoenix Eye has grown into an ideas to realities, gungho, guerrilla-style production hub working in films, digital art, creative facilitation and social media.

Founder and CEO, Maria Tran is a filmmaker of the unconventional kind; self taught and communal learning; she is now one of the leading community and cultural practitioners in Sydney over the years.

Now she wants to continue the flow of find pathways to make stories that resonate with cultural diversity as well as make a mark internationally.
